SUMMER CAMPS

2021
Huckleberry Mountain Summer Camp!
For kids and teens ages 6 and up

With our very own Ms. Caite at her captivating homestead in Chewelah, Washington, your child will have the opportunity to participate in a fully-immersed experience outdoors. 

Dates
Thursday - Wednesday of each week
  • June: 24th through 30th
  • July: 22nd through 28th
  • August: 5th through 11th


Cost
7-Day Camp, 9am - 4pm $350
Parents drop off at Ms. Caite’s and pick up promptly at Browns Lake. Day campers must provide all meals and snacks.

7-Day/6-Night Camp, Overnight $550
Overnight camping is co-ed. However, your child will be sleeping in either a girls or boys designated tent area. Children will always be supervised. There will be one large main girls and boys tent on site. Three meals provided, but snacks are not.

$150 discount if your child is registering for all three camps

Browns Lake membership for your family included in cost! Browns Lake is a privately owned lake located just down from the homestead near Chewelah, and a membership gets you access at any time to visit this beautiful, secluded location for your whole family. Brown’s Lake membership provides free lake-side camping sites for members throughout the summer. Non-motor lake. Membership is for 2 adults and unlimited children.

Register for your spot! Limited spots available due to staffing and transportation.

*Parents are welcome to attend, but must respect the purposeful environment without distracting or intervening in the imaginations and engineering the children are experiencing. (No helicopter parenting) Give notice of attendance at registration, and bring a book or craft to do while at the homestead.

2019
Children's Nature Summer Camp
​

We are proud to offer a Children's Nature Camp this year for children ages 4 - 6 years old.

June 18th through June 20th, from 9am - 12pm.

Each day will include a healthy snack and lots of nature. It's a great way to introduce your child to our friendly school community and to start preparing for the upcoming school year.


Registration is Monday, June 17th at 5 pm.

Children's Art & Adventure Summer Camp
​

We will be offering a new camp this year for the older children, ages 6 - 9 years old.

June 25th through June 27th, from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.


At Riverwood’s Arts & Adventure Camp, we will take a meaningful look into nature and all it has to offer through discovery, creativity, and the learning of life-long skills. 


Registration is Monday, June 17th at 5 pm.
