School Year 2021-2022
Enrollment for the school year is now open!

We are excited to announce that we are accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year! We have been successful in creating a healthy, safe, and in-person learning environment for the first COVID-19 year.

Thank you for your interest in the Riverwood Community School. The admissions process will enable you to gain a fuller picture of our school and allow faculty to attend to your child’s needs. There are two steps to our admissions process:
  1. Initial Interview:   After your completed application and registration form, along with a $50 for new students and $25 for returning students registration fee is received by the Administrator, you will be contacted to set up an interview and an assessment of your child’s needs. Both parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. This interview will help you become acquainted with our school, Waldorf-inspired education, and to share information about your child and family.
  2. Enrollment:   After a decision is reached by the whole faculty, the parents/guardians will be notified, and an appointment will be set up with the Administrator to enroll your student.

To apply for the school year, download the forms for the program(s) you are interested in applying for and email a completed copy to office@riverwoodschool.org:

Wait Lists
At Riverwood we strive to make room for children and adjust programming accordingly. In that spirit, if you are interested in enrolling your child in one of our programs that currently has a wait list, we encourage you to complete the application. It shows a level of commitment and allows us to have accurate numbers with which to adjust programming as well as plan for future programming. Additionally, some families’ circumstances and needs do change over the course of the year and we end up processing students who have been wait listed.

Programs currently on wait listed for 2021 - 2022:

none to report

Once your Enrollment has been confirmed, the administrator will be in contact with the documents for your child's program.
*Pricing is subject to change.

Non-Discrimination Policy
We do not discriminate in the enrollment or care of children on the basis of race, color, creed, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or disability.  Enrollment is open to any child whose needs we are able to meet.
